Your Bible Question

About Us

What We Are
1.)           Saved people.   The church   of Christ   is a group of Christians drawn together by faith in Jesus Christ, the Son of God (Mk. 1:1), and our Saviour (Acts 5:31;). We are simply men and women who have been saved from sin by grace through faith, that is, in obedience to the gospel (Heb. 5:9;).
2.)           Subject to Christ.   Jesus is   "the head over all things to the church" (Eph. 1:22-23;). We are not part of any denomination and have no earthly headquarters. We seek to reproduce faithfully the church described in the New Testament. We do not follow any human creed. The Bible is our only guide (1 Pe. 4:11;).
3.)           Our worship.     We simply worship as was done in the New Testament. We pray (Phil. 4:6;), have congregational singing (Eph. 5:19;), and eat the Lord's supper "upon the first day of the week" and proclaim the Lord's death until he comes again (Acts 20:7; 1 Cor. 11:26;). Giving of our means occurs on Sundays (1 Cor. 16:1-2;), and is by free-will.
